Nights in Rodanthe (PG)

Based on Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel, Nights in Rodanthe stars Diane Lane as Adrienne Willis; a woman with her life in chaos who retreats to the tiny coastal town of Rodanthe, North Carolina, to tend to a friend's inn for the weekend. Almost as soon as Adrienne arrives in Rodanthe, so does Dr. Paul Flanner (Richard Gere). The only guest at the inn, Flanner is not on a weekend escape but there to face his own crisis of conscience. Young@Heart, a New England Senior Citizen Chorus, delights audiences worldwide with covers of songs by everyone from The Clash to Coldplay.  As Stephen Walker's documentary begins, the retirees, led by a demanding musical director, are rehearsing their new show, struggling with a discordant Sonic Youth number and giving meaning to James Brown's "I Feel Good".  What ultimately emerges is a funny and unexpectedly moving testament to friendship, creative inspiration, and reaching beyond expectations.  A truly heart-warming and inspiring film. Alexandria is a child recovering from a broken arm at a Los Angeles hospital in the 1920s.  She befriends Roy Walker, a movie stunt man who is paralysed after a fall.  At her request, Roy tells her an elaborate story about six men of widely varied backgrounds who are on a quest to kill a corrupt provincial governor.

Set in 1930s southern India against the backdrop of a growing nationalist movement, Before the Rains is the English language debut of acclaimed Indian director Santosh Sivan.  Idealistic young Indian man T.K. The Wrestler (15)

A hugely successful professional wrestler in the late eighties, Randy ‘The Ram' Robinson (Mickey Rourke) now ekes out a living performing for diehard wrestling fans in high school gyms and community centres around New Jersey. Estranged from his daughter (Evan Rachel Wood) and unable to sustain any real relationships; Randy lives for the thrill of the show, the adrenalin rush of combat and the adoration of his remaining fans.
