Based on Evelyn Waugh's 1945 classic British novel, Brideshead Revisited is a poignant story of forbidden love and the loss of innocence prior to the Second World War. Filmed on location at Castle Howard and in the charming cities of Venice and Oxford, the film is worth seeing for the richness of the costumes, set designs and excellent performances from Emma Thompson and Michael Gambon.
