Job Opportunities

Number 8 is a vibrant community arts centre supported by 200 volunteers. We are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and well-motivated full-time members of staff to be part of a small executive management team. The successful applicants will build on what has been achieved so far and help lead the organization into the next phase of development.

General Manager £28,000 p.a.

Will be responsible for the general co-ordination of all the activities at Number 8 and will work closely with the Programming and Marketing Manager and Operations Manager to ensure the continued success and development of the venue. You will be directly responsible for the effective management of Number 8's finances and viability as a business.

Interview Date: Tuesday 16^th December 2008.

Programming and Marketing Manager £25,000 p.a.

Will be responsible for programming and marketing all areas of the business including film, live events, arts exhibitions, creative courses, private and community hirings, education and community outreach, youth theatre and after school dance classes.
